Development History
Kaohsiung Medical University (hereinafter referred to as Kaohsiung Medical University) has been a leader in southern Taiwan for more than half a century of cultivation and contribution to medical education for more than 60 years. Although the University does not have a religious background and does not have the financial support of a foundation, with the support and supervision of the Board of Trustees and the efforts of all the faculty and staff of the University, it has cultivated nearly 40,000 healthcare-related professionals who have excelled in various professional fields and contributed to the society. In 1998, Xiaogang Hospital became the first public hospital in Kaohsiung City, obtained a business license (Gao Shi Wei Yi Zi No. 10007) on October 12, 1998, and officially opened on November 16 of the same year. Origin of establishment

Urology
Introduction
The Department of Urology of Kaohsiung Municipal Xiaogang Hospital started operations in October 1987. The wards are located in Ward 7N on the 7th floor and Ward 8N on the 8th floor of the Emergency and Critical Care Building. It has 22 beds in total and is a regional teaching hospital. In addition to general consultation, hospitalization and surgery, , and also implement teaching training and teaching plans for residents and intern medical students (Clerk 2).
Currently, the Urology Department of Kaohsiung Municipal Xiaogang Hospital has 7 full-time attending physicians: Director/Professor Li Yongjin, attending physician Shen Rongzong, attending physician Wang Xunxuan, assistant professor Geng Junhong, attending physician Zhan Zhenhao, attending physician Cao Yaoxuan, and attending physician Wu Yixuan.
